It only takes a day to bring a house to life.
The Plattform house at 930 Mellon Street in Pittsburgh – you remember it as a raise on Small Change, the one that received over $80,000 in crowdfunded investment earlier this year – is looking whole.
After the factory-built foundation was put into place, the house was constructed in a day! Designed by Laura Nettleton of Thoughtful Balance, the home was built in modules by Eco-Craft modular home builders. The modules were lifted into place and joined, the roof buttoned, the plumbing on site finished, the utilities hooked up and the areas around the house backfilled. Oh, and the garage was excavated too. It’s real!
