CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) refers to the activities and initiatives of a business, which make social and environmental impacts that benefit society.
According to a 2017 study by Cone Communications people now expect companies to share their ideals. 78% of Americans want companies to address social justice issues and 63% are hoping that business will drive social and environmental change. A large percentage of people will make choices about products or services depending on a company’s beliefs.
Small Change founder and CEO Eve Picker has been nominated as one of the 50 Most Impactful Smart Cities Leaders (Global Listing) at World CSR Congress Day. She is making big impacts with Small Change. By bringing investors together through the power of crowdfunding, Small Change allows everyday people to invest in real estate projects that change cities and neighborhoods for the better.
This is not the first time that Eve and Small Change have been recognized for their innovative work.
